HIS EYE IS ON THE SPARROW

It’s difficult to not see the sadness depicted and not be reminded of our own losses.   A female mate was hit by a car as she swooped low across the road...   Her male mate brought her food and attended her with love and compassion.   He brought her food again... He tried to move her ... Attempting to wake her, he cried... ...and stood beside her, grieving now Millions of people were touched after seeing these photos in America , Europe, Australia , and even India .  The photographer sold these pictures for a nominal fee to the most famous newspaper in France .  All copies of that edition were sold out on the day these pictures were published. And many people think animals and birds don't have brains or feelings. You have just witnessed love and sorrow felt by God's creatures. The Bible says that God knows when a sparrow falls. Imagine how much He cares for us! We can't look at these pictures without thinking about Matt 10:25-31  25 It is enough for the disciple to become as his teacher, and the slave as his lord. If people have called the householder Be·el´ze·bub, how much more [will they call] those of his household so? 26 Therefore do not fear them; for there is nothing covered over that will not become uncovered, and secret that will not become known. 27 What I tell YOU in the darkness, say in the light; and what YOU hear whispered, preach from the housetops. 28 And do not become fearful of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul; but rather be in fear of him that can destroy both soul and body in Ge·hen´na. 29Do not two sparrows sell for a coin of small value? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground without YOUR Father’s [knowledge]. 30 But the very hairs of YOUR head are all numbered. 31 Therefore have no fear: YOU are worth more than many sparrows. &  Luke 12:6-7 6 Five sparrows sell for two coins of small value, do they not? Yet not one of them goes forgotten before God. 7 But even the hairs of YOUR heads are all numbered. Have no fear; YOU are worth more than many sparrows. Live simply, love generously, care deeply, and speak kindly.
